Can You Help?

I am always looking to purchase costumes, props, models etc. Also as an archivist I wish to gather any other production information, however small - for example: call sheets, take sheets, contact lists, continuity notes and photographs, production artwork etc. Even if you do not wish to part with your prized articles I would still like to photograph or photocopy them to include in the archive files.

Please note that I am a dedicated collector and not a dealer - while I may be willing to purchase items, I cannot make exchanges for items already in the collection.

Items specifically sought after currently include:

• Pulse rifle

  Dark Side of the Moon (UK) produced a resin pulse rifle kit, circa 1987, which was derived from the lightweight replicas used in Aliens.

• Aliens flamethrower replica

  Copies exist of the flamethrower derived from the original lightweight copies.

• IR monocle

  Not all of the helmets were equipped with the illuminated drop-down eyepiece, and consequently they seem hard to find.

• Cast jackets

  Apparently the Aliens cast received black wool jackets with red leather sleeves. Have you ever seen one, or do you have any photographs?
