These photographs were taken in January 2000 when Harry accompanied Geoff Topping to the Aliens armoury company. An interview with technicians who worked on Aliens took place that was featured in issue 48 of Science Fiction & Fantasy FX magazine in August 2000. According to Aliens armourer Simon Atherton this pulse rifle was the only fully (machine gun and grenade launcher) practical one built for Aliens. It was also the only rifle kept intact after the filming of Aliens was completed, the other rifles being returned to their original form. This rifle was subsequently sprayed black for use in Alien³ six years later.
